Teach Noa about your business

Give Noa your website, files and notes so she can answer like you from day one.

Noa only answers well on what she knows. The more she knows about your prices, opening hours, delivery and rules, the fewer drafts you'll need to fix.

What Noa uses when she replies

  • The business profile from the setup: name, industry, what you do, and which languages your customers write in.
  • The tone: Friendly, Short or Formal, your sign-off, and the things she must never write.
  • The knowledge base: what she has read on your website, plus your files and notes. She looks things up there when she replies.
  • Corrections: what you've told her when she got something wrong.

Noa only starts using the profile and tone once the setup has been finished with Færdig ("Done") or skipped.

Find the knowledge base

The knowledge base with the Add menu open

Click Opsætning ("Setup") at the bottom of the menu on the left, choose Noa-opsætning ("Noa setup"), and open the Viden ("Knowledge") tab. Only administrators can see and change the knowledge base.

Fetch from your website

Press Hent fra hjemmeside ("Fetch from website").

Enter your domain, for example madbaren.dk, and press Bed Noa læse den ("Ask Noa to read it").

Noa reads the site and shows her suggestions in your chat with her. Choose which ones go into the knowledge base. Nothing is saved automatically — a wrong price is worse than no price.

During the setup it works a little differently: there, Noa reads the front page and up to 14 pages it links to, and saves them straight away as Fra hjemmesiden ("From the website"). If you've changed something on your website since, fetch it again.

Upload files

Press Upload filer ("Upload files"), or drag the files in. Noa can read PDF, DOCX, TXT and MD. Each file can be at most 20 MB. Price lists, menus, terms and FAQs are good places to start.

How much you can store in total depends on your plan: 1 GB on Essential, 5 GB on Pro and 25 GB on Business.

Write a note

Press Skriv en note ("Write a note") for things that aren't written down anywhere — for example "We're closed on Mondays" or "Delivery in Aarhus is free over 500 DKK." Short, specific sentences work best.

When she gets it wrong

If Noa writes something wrong, tell her. Press Forkert ("Wrong") next to what she did, and write what she should have done. The correction then appears under Hvad hun lærte ("What she learned") on the Noa page and in the knowledge base as Rettelse ("Correction"), and she uses it next time.
