Connect Planday (staff schedule)
Let Noa know who's on shift — so she can answer "is Anna at work today?" and transfer calls to whoever is working. Create an API app in Planday and paste its App Id and token into Telenoa.
If you use Planday for your staff schedule, you can connect it to Telenoa. Noa then knows who's at work and can:
- answer "is Anna at work today?" and "when is Anna in?"
- transfer the call to an employee who is on shift right now, when the caller asks for that person by name.
Noa only reads your schedule. She never changes anything in Planday. It's free, and only an administrator can set it up.
You find it under Forbindelser → Planday ("Connections → Planday") in the menu.
API access is included in Planday's Plus, Pro and Enterprise plans. You don't need to apply for anything with Planday — you create the app yourself in your own Planday.
1. Create an API app in Planday
Open API access
Sign in to Planday as an administrator. Go to Settings → Integrations → API Access.
Create the app
Click Create App and name it e.g. Telenoa. Choose these scopes (read only):
- shift:read — shifts
- employee:read — employees
- department:read — departments
Save.
Authorise the app
Click Authorise on the app and confirm the scopes.
Copy the App Id and token
The app's tile shows the App Id and the Token. Copy both.
2. Paste them into Telenoa
In Forbindelser → Planday, paste the App Id and Token and click Forbind ("Connect"). Telenoa checks them with Planday right away. If they're wrong, you get an error — copy them again.
Once connected, the card shows your company name from Planday.
3. Choose what Noa may do
Both are off until you switch them on:
- Svar om vagter ("Answer about shifts") — Noa may say whether an employee the caller names is at work now, and when they're in next.
- Stil om til den, der er på vagt ("Transfer to whoever is on shift") — when the caller asks for a specific employee, Noa transfers to that employee's mobile number from Planday. Only if they're on shift right now. Otherwise she offers to take a message.
Under Afdelinger ("Departments") you can choose which departments Noa may see. Choose none, and she sees all of them.
What Noa never does
- She doesn't say who is at work. She only looks up a person the caller names.
- If several people share the name, she asks for the surname. She never reads surnames out.
- She never says an employee's phone number.
- Without Svar om vagter, she says nothing about when anyone works.
The token gives access to your schedule. Only paste it into Telenoa's Planday card. If you think it has leaked, delete the app in Planday, create a new one and connect again.
If it doesn't work
- "Planday rejected the App Id or token" — copy both again from the app in Planday. If you deleted or recreated the app, use the new token.
- "The Planday app is missing access" — give the app the scopes shift:read, employee:read and department:read, and click Authorise again.
- Noa doesn't transfer — check that the employee has a mobile number in Planday, that the shift is published (not a draft), and that Stil om til den, der er på vagt is on.
