Connect Shipmondo and parcel tracking

Let Noa answer “where is my parcel?” on the phone — with status, expected delivery and pickup point from Shipmondo and the carrier.

When a customer calls and asks “where is my parcel?”, Noa can find the parcel and say where it is. That takes two things:

  • Shipmondo (or your webshop) — so Noa can find the customer's parcel from the order number or tracking number.
  • Parcel tracking — your own key for PostNord and/or 17TRACK, so Noa can fetch the parcel's live status from the carrier.

Telenoa only gets read access — nothing is created or changed. It's free in Telenoa, and only an administrator can set it up. You find both under Forbindelser → Fragt og levering ("Connections → Shipping and delivery").

Connect Shipmondo

Log in to Shipmondo and go to Settings → Integrations → API. Create API access for Telenoa and copy the API user and the API key.

Paste both into Forbindelser → Shipmondo and press Tjek og gem nøglen ("Check and save"). Telenoa checks them with Shipmondo straight away and stores the key encrypted. Press Test forbindelsen ("Test the connection") to see that shipments can be read.

Add parcel tracking

  • PostNord: register at developer.postnord.com as a customer (Customer plan) and copy your API key.
  • 17TRACK (optional — for e.g. GLS, DAO and Bring): create an account at api.17track.net and copy the key (Security Key) under Settings.

Paste the keys into Forbindelser → Pakkesporing and press Tjek og gem. Press Test forbindelsen — it uses no 17TRACK quota.

How Noa answers

  • Noa asks for the order number (from the order confirmation) or the carrier's tracking number.
  • She only talks about the parcel if the number calling or the email the customer gives matches the order or the recipient in Shipmondo. Otherwise she says she can't confirm the parcel on the phone and offers to take a message.
  • She only says the status, the expected delivery (when the carrier has reported it) and the pickup point's name. She never says an address, and never anything about someone else's parcel.
  • When Noa has looked up a parcel, it shows on the inquiry.

17TRACK has a quota. New 17TRACK accounts get 200 free numbers once; after that you buy more from 17TRACK yourselves. Each new tracking number Noa looks up uses one. Noa always asks PostNord first when the parcel is PostNord's.

Without Shipmondo, Noa can only find the parcel from the order number in your webshop (Shopify, WooCommerce or Shoporama). She can't confirm a tracking number on its own.
